About Shepherd Clarence Jones
Shepherd Clarence Jones was born in Brooklyn, New York and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, at an early age. After High School, he served in the U.S. Army for six years during the Vietnam Conflict as a combat medic and surgical technologist. Upon his discharge, he returned to Atlanta, Georgia, where he continued his career in surgery. He is still a very skilled and Certified Surgical First Assistant.
Shepherd Jones is a proud husband to Psalmist Ruby M. Jones, who works hand in hand with him in ministry. Together they are proud parents to four children, five grand-children and one great-grand child, most of which are in ministry as well.
Shepherd Jones was saved in 1976 under the Pastoral leadership of Apostle Matthew Norwood in the Churches of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. That same year he earned an Associate’s Degree in Commercial Art from the Art Institute of Atlanta. He received his ministerial license in 1978 and was ordained as an Elder in 1986 in the Churches of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. In 2004, he earned a duel degree of Bachelor of Arts in Nouthetic (Biblical) Counseling and Biblical Education from American University of Biblical Studies.
Shepherd Jones held several ministerial positions under Apostle Norwood, including Young Adult Sunday School Instructor, Assistant Pastor, Pastor of Ministers, Assistant Dean of Education (Bible Way Institute). For many years he has served as an exceptional teacher and mentor to other ministry leaders and pastors.
Shepherd Jones has been pastoring the Word of Reconciliation Ministries from its inception in 1999. He was consecrated as a Bishop in the Greater High Point Christian Tabernacle Fellowship of Independent Churches in 2007.
Around 2014 he was awakened to our true identity and embarked on an extensive study. Soon after, the ministry began it’s transition to that of a Hebrew Assembly. Since that time, Shepherd Jones has been passionate in his quest to help awaken our people to our hidden identity and what The Most High requires. The quest continues…
