Repentence is the Key.  There is no forgiveness until we repent.  Nothing will change until we repent and come back to Torah.

 

"Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts." (Zechariah 1:3)

 

Torah explains the character of Elohim (God) Himself, and we as a people must come back to Torah.
